Colo Colo Hostel Valencia - Single Private Beds

Honest review of my 2 day stay

Pros: The cosy beds, the communal area, the lockers, the staff, the access to kitchenware, the bathroom set up, the location, the staff - all amazing

Cons: The dust on my bed head board, the lack of lights in the shower area, and the round charger ports because my adapter didn't fit in but I think I just want prepared for it

Great option for visiting Valencia on a budget

Pros: The hostel is very modern and I really enjoyed the concept of the casitas, the private beds inside the dorms that offer you true privacy, unlike most hostels. The location is great, I went on a work trip so it was really close to the office but you can easily walk to, pretty much, everywhere. The check-in was very easy and user-friendly. All the facilities are nice, clean and in a good state.

Cons: I think the front-desk should have staff available for longer hours (they are only there from 10am - 6pm). Since I was working, I left early in the morning and arrived after 6pm, so I never met anyone. I needed bath towels and when I asked for them over the phone on my first night, they said I had to ask to the staff at the front-desk, which was quite useless for me.

Nice private beds

Pros: Nice modern place, and the private beds are indeed private, which is better than other hostels. The showers were very good.

Cons: There was no air in the bedrooms, non of the fresh air and especially during the night and in the morning, it was not pleasant to enter and feel all the smells and high CO2

I would recommend this place over and over again.

Pros: The property is very clean, everyone cleans up after themselves and there is also the cleaning ladies that are constantly circulating to make sure everything is clean and tidy.

Cons: The cleanest and how quiet it is during the night.

10/10 recommend!

Pros: Comfy bed, easy check in, good facilities, friendly staff, great location, and made loads of friends with the other people staying there as they were all so welcoming!

Cons: Loud snoring from a couple of men (not the hostel's fault, but bring earplugs!) and someone making noise in the bedroom by praying/music at 6.30am - maybe there should be a quiet room available for this?

Cool place for open minded travellers

Pros: Staff is super friendly and always willing to help! Soft light in the bed areas during night so late coming back is not a problem. Each bed has roller blinds so it's not a problem when you want to sleep.

Cons: Some people do not respect sleeping area and they are super loud, maybe bigger info boards can be put on the walls. Sooo much left food in the storage and fridge, it was hard to find free space.

Very affordable, modern hostel in the center of the city

Pros: First of all, I liked the location of the hostel. It was near important bus stops, and also very near to the metro station. I was very pleased with how everything was organized and how easy it was to check in.

Cons: The only thing that I would change about my experience is that I would make some sort of ventilations for the bedrooms. It gets quite hot even in the month of February.

Pros: Very clean and easy space to use. Had a separate locker and the pod area made it feel like I was in my own room. Friendly staff :)
