Masia de Matuta

One night was not enough. Highlight of our road trip

Pros: Everything. An incredible view in a stunning location. The house is styled and furnished so every space is special and welcoming. The food provided by Bas is probably the best we have eaten on a trip across France and Spain.

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect location, perfect attention!

Pros: We loved everything. Breathtaking views and location, fabulous reception and attention from the owners, well equipped and spotlessly clean room and a very, very comfortable bed. We also had dinner in the hotel which was delicious and served on the gorgeous terrace and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel for a lots time. Thank you to the Masia de Matuta hens for your delicious eggs. Thank you Sara and Bas, we shall be back.

The perfect place to relax and disconnect from

Pros: We stayed at Masia de Matuta for 3 nights and it was the perfect place for a relaxing trip away! The location and surroundings were absolutely idyllic. There were so many beautiful spots to relax - by the infinity pool, on hammocks overlooking the view, on the terrace, in the treehouse! Sarah and Bas were incredible hosts. We were shown around by Sarah on arrival and made to feel completely at home. Bas cooked his carbonara and focaccia for us on Saturday evening and it was delicious! We got to watch a beautiful orange sunset whilst enjoying our meal and a glass of wine - doesn't get much better! Thank you both so much - we will definitely be back x

Magnificent and romantic stay with a real touch of something special

Pros: Lots of little surprises that made the trip special. The house is beautiful, with a lot of history, and the surroundings are just magnificent. Lots of little hikes nearby with some cute horses to say hello to. Sara and Bas were very welcoming and you can see how much they care about making sure everybody is comfortable and happy. Bas made breakfasts each morning with home-baked bread, home-made granola pots, good coffee and lots of other delicacies to go along with it. We woke up excited for it on the second day! Overall we loved our weekend holiday and would definitely come back.

Cons: Weak WiFi signal in our room, meaning it would sometimes drop out at night when we wanted to watch some Netflix before sleeping. I think it could do with a repeater somewhere near the room to boost it for these cases.

Pros: Está muy bien situado, pues aunque está en un enclave natural, hay muchos pueblos cerca que visitar. Además, hay muchas rutas para disfrutar de la montaña

Paz, naturaleza y buen servicio.

Pros: Esta en un lugar super bonito, los dueños son muy profesionales, te dan una muy buena acogida, son muy atentos, todo súper limpio y la comida es de muy buena calidad. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza.

Pros: Las instalaciones, el lugar, el entorno y los dueñis

Cons: Cuesta un poco encontrarlo

Conectando con la naturaleza y disfrutando de una buena cocina de calidad.

Pros: La ubicación de la Masia, con la tranquilidad que te ofrece el paraje natural, la masia está restaurada con mucho gusto y cuidando todos los detalles. Los propietarios están muy atentos a todo lo que puedas necesitar. Si buscar descansar, desconectar de la multitud y conectar con la naturaleza es un sitio perfecto, donde poder disfrutar de caminatas por el monte, disfrutar del relax que te ofrece la piscina y de la buena cocina de Bas. La masia tiene distintos espacios tanto en interior como en exterior para pasar un buen rato conversando, leyendo o jugando a juegos de mesa.

Cons: La masia ha superado nuestras expectativas, en estos momentos todavía no funcionaban sauna y jacuzzi por falta de energía pero están trabajando en poder llevarlo a cabo.

Pros: La, atención de Sara y Bas y la calidad de la comida.
