Varone

Lovely old town, many good restaurants and spectacular countryside within 20 mins drive.

Pros: Superb location in the centre, parking easy to be found within a few minutes walk.

Very pleasant stay in a wonderful apartment

Pros: We stayed in 2 different apartments in Varone. Both were superb. The host is an incredible nice man, who speaks good English and knows everything about the town and its surroundings.

A great central location in lovely Requena!

Pros: Everything was as expected - a great, centrally located apartment. Raul was helpful, professional and prompt to respond. He even provided secure parking for our moto! We would return!

Pros: I could find blue zone parking easily, which on the weekend, was perfect. Also the coffee options were great. Host was very friendly and happy to help

Pros: The house and the friendliness of Raul. Nowadays you don’t see the host of your booking no more. You get a number for a locker to open the apartment and there you get some indications or have to google everything. Raul saw us when we drove in the town, helped us parking the car , brought some of the luggage inside, showed us the apartment and explained how and where to eat, drink etc. We felt very welcome!!!!

Pros: I loved the location: city centre! The apartment was exactly as per pictures with a very good vibe.

Pros: Nice location, very clean, entire flor is your room. We were lucky to be there when the “Fiesta de la Vendimia” occurred.

Pros: The apartment was lovely. It was very clean and comfortable. Close to amenities. Our hosts went over and above to inform us of local restaurants and services. Appreciated the parking.

Pleasant and restful.

Pros: Great position in the middle of town and the historical centre, parking right outside too. Our host was there to greet us and give us all the information we needed, mostly places to eat! 😁 The apartment was clean and tidy and the shower was great. We really appreciated that there was milk and juice in the fridge, tea and coffee and biscuits plus wine!! And shower gel, soap and shampoo! That’s very rare indeed! Also, air conditioning and heating, extra blankets, comfy bed and decent pillows. We had a balcony to sit out on and a pastry shop only minutes away, breakfast sorted 🥐

Cons: Just a few niggles: we were on the 2nd floor and just too tired to carry up all our cases, and we are of a certain age, but fairly fit! So be aware if you’re old or disabled in any way. There was no space in the bedroom for us and our small suitcase, bit of an odd design! So we put it on a chair outside our room. There is a table of sorts, but the design of the sitting room doesn’t really lend itself to eating indoors, but the use of the balcony makes up for this I guess. There are other rooms, so maybe they are different.
