1893 Hotel Boutique

Navajas is a gorgeous village in the mountains and a great base to visit Montanejos.

Pros: The Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station or bus stop in Navajas. The train service is currently not running because of work on the line in Sagunto. The Hotel is a gorgeous period building, and we had the Candela room with a view of the Torre and a terrace with a view over the garden and town. It's well positioned to stroll into town and down to the Salto de Novia waterfall. The staff were very helpful and had good English skills when my Spanish failed.

Cons: The safety light at night was a little bright.

Beautiful residence in a quiet area

Pros: The hotel turned out to be a lovely residence so me and my dog rested like queens! Worth recommending!👍

Cons: Not impressed with restaurant being unable to offer us a table for dinner. They prioritised not guests but external bookings. And the emergency light in the bedroom was very very bright

Pros: Everything! The property itself is really beautiful, and is in a lovely location. The rooms are comfortable, with nice beds, fans and air conditioning. The owners are amazing! They are so welcoming and helpful in every way - they just make you feel at home the minute you arrive. A fabulous place and we will certainly be back!

Well worth a visit !

Pros: Looks amazing , staff fantastic , would have rated higher , however the hotel restaurant was shut on the evening we stayed - this was a real shame as we were overnighting on a long road trip. The back up restaurant was good , but we were pretty tired. Breakfast in the hotel was great and Eva is fabulous - we will return and spend more nights.

Pros: The building is beautiful and ideally located off the main road.

Lovely quiet stay in a clean comfortable hotel up in the mountains away from the crowds.

Pros: Very good breakfast, lovely Spanish omelette and the bonus of some English bacon.

Cons: Not staffed overnight, it was tricky locking the door to the hotel.

Peaceful country retreat

Pros: Location was good for a short stop from France to Spain. Small balcony with garden view, unable to use as it was raining heavily,which was a shame.

Cons: Check in as did not receive an entry code, it was sent to the wrong telephone number.Owner was quick o respond to aid entry.Restaurant not open,only open for functions! Pet friendly but not able to take your dog into breakfast room or leave them in your room so bring breakfast with you if you are travelling with a dog. No kettle in room but there is a coffee machine and microwave in a small lounge across the hallway.

A really comfortable, enjoyable and well located stay.

Pros: The hotel was a lovely, grand old building with history. It was spacious and very comfortable. Having previously stayed somewhere with very poor water pressure, the water pressure here was exceptional, and very welcome indeed! The hotel was well located, just a short walk from both the centre of town and to country walks all around. The hotel staff were really pleasant and helpful, serving us unscheduled coffee outside and again upstairs next morning. Neither time were we charged for this. They also helped us with directions and advice about restaurants.

Cons: It is difficult to find fault with this property. We had a really good and enjoyable stay.

Great place to spend a few relaxing days.

Pros: A great place to spend a few relaxing days, while exploring the surrounding area. The hotel is very nice and well-maintained . The location is great. There are parking places at the hotel. Also our two Golden Retrievers were very welcomed, so it is truly a family, pet-friendly hotel. :)
