Happy Apartments Valencia – Lope de Vega

Amazing location, charming balcony, easy check-in, great value for money

Pros: The location of this property is amazing, walking distance to basically everything in the old part of the town. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants around. There's a charming balcony with a magnificent view. Everything you need for a short stay (including hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, a couple of coffee capsules and some sugar). There's a small kitchenette with everything you need to make a breakfast/quick meal. Check-in process was quick and painless (online, lockbox at the property). Great value for money.

Cons: There's four flights of narrow stairs to get to the apartment, no lift. Not a problem if you're reasonably fit, but worth mentioning for people with difficulties. The bathroom is in the narrowest building in Europe, so it is unsurprisingly narrow, which can be a bit inconvenient for taller people. I wouldn't mind a bit more hooks/shelves, especially in the bathroom. Minor things that could become annoying for a longer stay, but overall very much recommend.

Pros: Very good position to explore the city. Excellent communication with staff which is very helpful.

Cons: Cleanliness could be better.

Pros: The buildings were excellent and beautiful. Really beautiful city with a lot to see and do. Lovely shops and so many choices to shop in. So much history in the city. Most enjoyable.

Cons: Couldn't say.

Pros: Great communication with the host (Ika was super helpful), super clean facilities and great location.

Wonderful apartment with atmospheric view in a very downtown

Pros: The apartment is really good with atmospheric view. Location in the very downtown in some cute small square. You have everything you need around. And you have all you need in the flat.

Cons: Unfortunately, in the bedroom doesn't work wi-fi well

Clean, comfortable apartment in a good location.

Pros: We arrived after reception had closed but the check in process was quick and easy. The bed was comfy and the apartment had all mod cons. The 2 balconies were a bonus. Great location for exploring Valencia, convenient for the train station. Central but not noisy at night.

Cons: The bathroom was quite small and there was no bath.

Nice

Pros: Nice area close to everything and historic building so nice they have prepare the sleeping beds and water bowl for my dogs

Cons: Just don’t have any hanging rack to dry clothes

Pros: The apartment was absolutely amazing. It was spotlessly clean, had a large supply of fresh towels and sheets, an extremely comfortable mattress for my parents. I slept very well in the pull out sofa bed also. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of old town and only a minute or twos walk from lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. We loved sitting on the balcony, people watching those in the plaza below. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back any time. Excellent air conditioning The bathroom was extended into what was formerly one of the floors of the narrowest house in Europe which is a big tourist attraction in itself.

Cons: One thing to note is the building is accessible by stairs only (about 30 steps - we were the first floor), the property doesn't have a lift. We knew this before booking and it was no problem for us. Thank you for having us!

Lovely apartment in the heat of old town Valencia

Pros: The apartment is amazing two balconies in the room and a communal balcony on the fourth floor. The apartment is very clean and it’s in the heart of the old town. The people at happy apartments are very nice and helped us if we had any issues, I would definitely recommend.

Cons: Our internet didn’t work on the first day however they had it fixed for us in a day which was great. There was only one roll of toilet paper which for a few days and two people wasn’t ideal as we had to buy more. The apartment was on the 4th floor of some steep stairs which didn’t bother us but if you had any health problems this may be difficult.

Great position and wonderful view

Pros: Perfect location, right in the city center. A delightful little apartment with livable terraces, equipped with everything you need, with a wonderful view!

Cons: For a night or two, the studio apartment is perfect. It might be a bit challenging for those with bulky luggage, as it is located on the fourth floor without an elevator and has rather narrow stairs. In the evening, you can hear noise from the little square below, but that's to be expected when staying in the city center. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it!
