Hostal On Dormire Valencia

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at this hostal in Valencia. The space was clean, comfortable, and well organized, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The atmosphere was welcoming and the facilities were well maintained. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm attitude made the experience even better and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a great place to stay in Valencia — good space, great service, and a very positive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.

excellet option for a short stay

Pros: elevator, balcony, friendly receptionist girl, room was quite small but had everything needed for a short stay: comfy bed with clean linen and two pillows of different sizes, clean shower, small wardrobe, good wifi, air conditioner in the room (did not use though), easy self checkout, bus stop right behind the corner

Cons: Nesting pigeons above the air conditioner on the outside wall were making noise; the windows in the room were not soundproof. The temperature of the hot water in a shower was not always stable

Pros: The staff was really polite and nice very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed they speak good English and Spanish of course. The room was relatively spacious for two people it was very clean we had two pillows each on bed was very soft the other one was harder so you had options depending on the type of person you are for me and my friend worked perfectly. The bathroom also was nice you could tell it was recently renovated there was plenty of hot water towels everything you needed and if something was missing the people from the reception would give it you instantly.

Cons: A problem we had with my friend was that there was only one outlet in the main room so we had to charge our phones earphones and everything in turns which takes time the other output was in the bathroom so two total in the room but still not very convenient. Also the TV was not working and above our heads each one of us had a lamp - on of them was also not working. About the toiletries there were left on pair of shampoo and lotion for the two of us but we were staying 3 nights so it would be normal for me to have 3 sets of lotion each but I’m sure that if I asked for more they would give me. There was no hand soap either which I thought it was weird but something that they really have to fix in my opinion is that when they send u all the automatic messages from booking they should absolutely include to say that u have to ring the bell for the sixth floor when ur about to do your check in (the hotel is located inside a flat) because I had to ask a random person to use his phone to call and figure out how to get in to do my check in because my number wasn’t working in Spain.

Pros: Overall, the stay at the hostel was okay. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the city centre. There were only two sockets in the room, and the ones near the bed didn’t work. The trash from previous guests hadn’t been taken out. For one or two nights at this price, it’s fine.

Pros: The room was big enough for me. It had everything I needed. Private bathroom and very clean. Close to bus stops too

Good value for money

Pros: For that money I can’t complain at all. The room was clean, I had a bed, TV, table with mirror and private bathroom, even some type of ancient AC. I really missed the kitchen to keep some stuff at the fridge or to eat a meal, because this is not a typical hostel, it’s more like rooms for rent so there is no kitchen. But there are some local bars and Mercadona nearby so it was ok. The staff answers on Booking very fast for any request.

Cons: Really miss the kitchen or fridge because it was +43 outside and some stuff were spoiled
