Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Convenient apartment close to the beach

Pros: We liked the apartment. It was confortable and with excellent public transportation connections to downtown Valencia. We liked it location near to great chunguitos (popular restaurantes) at the beach. The apartment was rather well equiped with kitchen essentials and a fully equipped barbeque.

Cons: The apartment is located close to a somehow ruined down neighborhood offering limited services. For example, it was almost impossible to buy a good wine in one of the near-by shops. Checking in to the apartment was quite a challenge, since there were limited instructions and we never met someone. I would have appreciated a small booklet providing the basic guidance on how to operate the appliances and how to move around in the area. The remote system to open and lock the apartment and building doors was not very reliable. Sometimes it worked well, some other times it didn't. I would also recommend making a vacuum cleaner available for one-month stays and more.
