SH Valencia Palace

Very pleasant stay.

Pros: Friendly staff. Nice buffet breakfast. Reasonable location.

Cons: Some traffic noise early morning.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Pros: Excellent location on the edge of the city centre. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, rooms were spacious. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: USB power sockets in the rooms would have been helpful.

I loved my stay at this hotel. I would definitely go back.

Pros: The room was spacious. I loved that there was door between the bedroom and the bathroom/hallway, making the room soundproof. The staff was lovely. I would definitely go back to that hotel if i had to stay in Valencia for work or with my family.

Cons: I love buffet breakfasts but I felt this was not the best. The cooked station was not good at all. Also not really optimised use of space. ie: no space in the bread corner to put your plate while you cut your bread or wait. Coffee machines are near tables and a pillar so it's hard to move around. I think the space should be redesigned really and the chef should improve his English breakfast skills!

Amazing and stay again in mid year

Pros: Amazing friendliness of all staff from reception to brakfast staff to housemaids bar staff.

Cons: Pool temp could have been warmer

Pros: Twin room more spacious than others we have stayed in. Great to have a kettle in the room. Second internal door made the room quiet and the 2 sinks were a nice extra feature.

Pros: Ideal location for both city and beach, excellent transport options nearby.

Cons: Late evening meal times not ideal for elderly couple!

Ideal location to explore city.

Pros: Hotel in an ideal location. Room clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet exceptionally good.

Cons: Better coffee-making facilities in room (e.g. filter coffee), although kettle, tea and powdered coffee provided.

Pros: All is fine but the rooms design may be a bit better reflecting the 5* status of the hotel

Stay by the old river bed

Pros: The hotel is everything you can expect from a large hotel and the SH chain of hotels. The facilities are great. Breakfast was £19 per person payable at the hotel, but there were only cold options when we went on a public holiday. The beds are large and comfortable.

Cons: The hotel is out of the city center and it takes about half an hour to get into the center of Valencia if you are walking. You can bike, but it's advisable not to use the Valenbisi bikes as they are very heavy. The view from our room was of the offices next door - so not the best....
