Opera House Valencia B&B

Highly recommendable, we will go back next time we go to Valencia

Pros: We love the location, the room as clean and spacious and they offered coffee and some croissants for breakfast. We asked a couple of questions and they were answer very fast. Also, it is very easy to find parking space in the area.

Pros: Excellent accommodation, clean and well-equipped, in an excellent location. Highly recommended.

A comfortable time in a great location to explore València but the entry code issue needs addressing

Pros: Great location with a pool and a view of the stunning Opera House. Clean and comfortable

Cons: The entry code for the front door didn’t work on arrival and took 15 mins on the phone to sort out. The replacement code then ceased to work after day 3, meaning another call to the office. There really needs to be a more reliable system. The pool had no beds, and being somewhat Brutalist there was only concrete to lie on or concrete benches.

We were very happy with our stay here, perfect for families!

Pros: The property is great! The rooms are clean and functional with everything you need. Cleaning available daily and the staff are very helpful. The common area was well stocked and a lovely place to eat breakfast. We all really enjoyed the swimming pool and it was so nice to have the shade over the pool. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

Cons: The only issue for us is that we didn’t have rooms next to each other. We were 2 adults and 2 children so had to split and sleep 1 adult and 1 child in a room and would’ve preferred rooms next to each other. Only other downside is that there was a bit of slime in the deepest end of the pool towards the end of our stay

Just what you need for a visit to Valencia, we enjoyed 3 nights there

Pros: Location was ideal for visiting Valencia, a bus stop just near by or walk into the park which runs for 8 km across the city Aircon was very welcome in the heat, a snack room available to make drinks and some snacks available Staff very friendly, very secure by code entry to building and room Use of swimming pool in the main block, very clean and secure area

Pros: The rooms are spacious enough, comfortable, clean and easily accessible with the code, so no need to carry a key. AC worked well which was a lifesaver during hot summer days. The service staff was super helpful and friendly, easily reachable through WhatsApp or in person at the property. There is a coffee machine and some pastries available all day every day and a small communal kitchen area with a fridge that can be used. The location is good, especially for getting to the Art & Science museum and park, there are bus stops nearby and the center is a 30 min walk away, but the beach is a 50min walk or 45mins with public transport so ended up using taxi quite a bit.

Cons: Having access to a pool was great, and the pool was nice and clean, but I wish they had some sunbeds for lounging. Currently they only have plastic lawn chairs and some cement benches so the pool is not super comfortable for an all-day lounge and sunbathing. Getting to the hotel and rooms is only by going up some stairs, no elevator available (but they have a chair lift attached to the stairs), so it can be tricky with heavy luggage. While not a big issue, the rooms could benefit from a small desk to work from and a mini fridge (even though you do have access to the communal one in the kitchen area which is close to all rooms).

Nice room close to the City of Arts and Sciences

Pros: Free snacks and drinks in the common room / kitchen, clean room and bathroom

Cons: No table in room, only one plug socket by the beds, shower head holder too high up and can’t be adjusted

Very pleasant and peaceful stay

Pros: Excellent location—right next to Gulliver Park, with a bus stop two minutes away that takes you to the city centre or the beach. The bedroom is simple, with only a bed and a spacious bathroom. It has an iron and an ironing board. Nice staff - both the host and the housekeeper.

Cons: The only downside was the room being right in the common area, which could be noisy in the morning and in the evening when other guests were coming in, and not that private. I would advise asking for a back room.

A highly pleasant budget stay

Pros: A small, nicely set up and very cozy place. The bed was comfortable, the room very clean and pleasant. I loved it that I was allowed to control the temperature in my room - you very seldom get that at hotels. The common area with the coffee machine, a kitchenette and tables was very pleasant. Some free snacks available, although didn’t get to taste like cupcakes. Was going to the last morning, but somebody had decided to clear all the freshly restocked tray…
