Perfect for a city break!

Pros: The hotel is located very well: 20-25 minutes from the sea by walk, 30 minutes from the old city center by walk and 15 minutes from Oceanografic by walk -> a big Plus for this. The breakfast very good and tasty.

Cons: Maybe some kind of renovations are needed for the rooms. There could be improvments when we talk about furniture and the bed itself.

Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend! The negatives are just a small thing at least to me.

Pros: Comfy beds, everything was clean, staff was very nice (especially in the breakfast room, the cleaning ladies I met in the hall were also always very nice). Breakfast was lovely with a lot to choose from and a great coffee. Close to two metro stations which go directly to the airport, a lot of shops around, the neighbourhood felt safe (just like the whole city).

Cons: As everyone is saying, the walls and the doors are very thin but it wasn’t that bad during my stay. I guess it depends on who is staying next to you and how loud they are:). There is water in the fridge in glass bottles which I appreciate but it would be nice to have a bottle opener in the room for opening them.

Pros: there are a lot of improvments in the hotel to make it more modern, it still retains its old world charm, the room was a good size with a comfortable bed, reception let me check in early, wonderful stay!!!

Overall very good value for money

Pros: The reception area and the breakfast room are clean and nicely appointed. I loved my room - the wonderful big terrace that made a very small room feel spacious; the beautiful wood floor and good quality furniture; the kind cleaner who got me a warm blanket; and the kind staff member who provided the requested electric kettle. The breakfast was copious and delicious, with both hot and cold dishes. The young woman who manges the breakfast area was smiling and helpful. She does a great job. Overall I think this hotel gives very good value for money and I would be happy to stay here again.

Cons: I found the receptionists to be cold and unfriendly. Since they are the first people one meets, it sets a negative tone. The hotel is ,in fact, very good. I arrived at 2 pm and was informed in a rather lecturing tone that no check-in is allowed before 3 pm - even though I hadn’t asked. I had already checked in online but when I arrived the receptionist took my passport and a credit card (even thought I had already paid for the room). I was pleased that they allowed me to store my bags while I went to lunch and took a walk. When I returned I expected I would get my room key. Instead I had to wait in line. Another form had to be filled out and signed. Then I finally got the room key. Checking-in online may be a waste of time. The TV seemed to have only 1 channel and I had minimal control over the sound level. I thought the problems might be due to a bad battery in the remote control but I had no problem turning the TV on and off. There seems to be no noise insulation whatsoever. However, since it was off season and there weren't a lot of guests on my floor it was not an issue for me.
